Quality Assurance Tester

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities: Performing a variety of quality control tests on proprietary products, as well as 3rd party software which integrate with the overall system at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards; Assisting in test script creation and refinement. Creating and modifying detailed and repeatable test scripts from product specifications, reporting defects and current documents. Recommend modifications to existing or suggest new standards, methods and procedures; Document, plan and conduct test data setup required for testing execution; Documentation of testing process and results; Record statistical data, analyze the data and write summaries; Identify, document and track software defects encountered during testing; Perform verification / validation tests prior to release.
Additional experience preferred in:
Oracle and SQL Server experience
J2EE Architecture
Quality Assurance Tester will work in a fast paced, highly flexible team and client environment. Must be a self-starter, able to operate independently, and multiplex his or her time between many diverse tasks in a fast moving environment with limited supervision.
