MicroPact helps integrate CSX Transportation's needs with entellitrak
Centralized data collection and flexibility makes it easy to track and manage information
HERNDON, VA - March 7, 2007 -- MicroPact Engineering, Inc., www.micropact.com of Herndon, VA, today announced that CSX Transportation (CSXT) of Jacksonville, Florida, has signed on to implement MicroPact's entellitrak Labor Relations and EEO product suite. CSX Transportation is the largest railroad in the eastern United States and is a subsidiary of CSX Corporation, a Fortune 500 company.

When MicroPact first contacted CSXT last spring, CSXT was in the process of trying to move the company from the mainframe it was using to a web-based system that would allow better tracking of filed employee concerns and resources used to address them. The company had initially considered building the new system in-house but, after looking at entellitrak decided to also explore outside software solutions.
MicroPact demonstrated how entellitrak's flexibility and ease of use would allow CSXT to integrate payroll, human relations, and labor relations. Data could easily be collected centrally and shared throughout the system. Moreover, CSXT could easily track and manage the resources used to address filed employee concerns. The ability to have greater control over the data collection, which could lead ultimately to increased efficiency and reduced expenses, sold CSXT on MicroPact's entellitrak products.
CSXT will initially implement MicroPact's entellitrak Labor Relations and EEO products.
entellitrak's Labor Relations (LR) Edition tracks grievance data from the time a grievance is filed through its resolution. The LR Edition also includes an Ad Hoc reporting module to help develop required reports, including daily activity, status, and data trend analysis reports. The LR Edition is so flexible that any company's or agency's data and processes can easily be incorporated into the system.
