Department of Justice selects MicroPact's entellitrak Background Investigation (BI) Edition to replace TRAQ system

HERNDON, VA - July 17, 2007 -- MicroPact Engineering, Inc., www.micropact.com of Herndon, VA, announced today that the Department of Justice has selected MicroPact's entellitrak Background Investigation (BI) Edition to be their total BI solution, replacing its existing TRAQ system.

In choosing a TRAQ replacement, DoJ wanted a system that would process background investigations and security clearances, and meet DoJ internal and external compliance reporting requirements. It was also critical to DoJ that the new system be able to integrate current manual processes and interfaces into one system -- a system that would need minimal customization. The DoJ was impressed by entellitrak's off-the-shelf capabilities to meet all of these capabilities and more, and the fact that any customization they chose to do could easily be done by their in-house staff.
Implementation in two phases
The DoJ's implementation of the new entellitrak BI Edition will take place in two phases. In Phase I, the Justice Management Division at Headquarters will implement the new system. In Phase II, approximately one year later, the system will be rolled out to all DoJ bureaus. Implementation will include training to users and technical support personnel. Afterward, MicroPact will provide ongoing support as well as recommendations for future development.
