DISA Chooses MicroPact’s entellitrak IG to Replace Paper-Intensive System

HERNDON, VA – Aug. 21, 2007 -- MicroPact, www.micropact.com of Herndon, VA, announced today that Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has selected entellitrak’s Inspector General (IG) Edition by MicroPact to replace their current, internally built system.
This will be MicroPact’s first project with DISA; however, DISA is the fourth federal agency to choose MicroPact’s IG Edition to help them track the lengthy processes involved with investigations, audits and inspections. The IG Edition will help DISA track investigations of possible criminal or fraudulent activity, both internally and externally; audits of policies and standards or of possible criminal conduct; and the process and documentation involved in inspections.
Before signing with MicroPact, DISA was using an internally built system that still required a great deal of paperwork to track the large amount of data and the intensive processes involved in investigations, audits and inspections. DISA evaluated systems used by other offices, and also considered the option of continuing with their internal system, before choosing MicroPact’s entellitrak IG Edition.
