On April 16, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. penned his famous “Letter from a Birmingham Jail.” In it, he writes, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." As we near Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it is an excellent time to reflect on the different ways the fight against injustice can take place.

For example, many government agencies are active in the pursuit of justice. We are proud to partner with the public servants at these agencies by providing solutions to help in their mission.

Human Capital Management and Equal Employment Opportunity professionals manage employment-related cases, reasonable accommodation disputes, labor relations and civil rights disputes for the express purpose of eliminating discrimination. They are in the front lines of the fight against injustice in the workplace.

Health, Human Services, and Benefits agencies not only deliver services and benefits to the individuals who are entitled to them but also provide for the appeals processes to ensure those benefits are distributed fairly.

Regulatory agencies issue credentials and enforce rules that protect individuals. From banking and securities regulations to healthcare licenses, they act as a safeguard for citizens.

Justice and Law Enforcement professionals are entrusted to promote justice and investigate violations. They are empowered in their mission when they have the means to track, analyze, and share information to be more effective in enforcing the laws.

Finally, Courts systems are established specifically to administer justice. It is a privilege to support court personnel who continue to look for ways to fulfill their purpose more efficiently and effectively.

We offer our utmost respect to those, in public service or not, who fight for justice in the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. Tweet this.
