Herndon, Va. February 7, 2014 – Kris Collo, CEO, President and Founder of MicroPact, a leader in the development of case management and business process management (BPM) software, has been named a 2014 Minority Business Leader by the Washington Business Journal.
An entrepreneur at an early age, Collo launched MicroPact using two personal credit cards and $15,000 of his own money when he was just 21 years old. Since then, Kris has created hundreds of jobs at a growing business that contributes millions of dollars to the regional economy each year.

Nominees were judged based on professional accomplishments, community leadership, philanthropy, as well as awards and milestones.
“I am extremely honored to be selected for this award,” said Collo. “I’m proud to be included in this elite group of business leaders who not only make a difference within their companies but within our community as well.”
