December 6, 2013, Washington, D.C. –  The Division of Environmental Health within the Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) has gone live with Iron Data’s Versa solution. Iron Data implemented its comprehensive regulatory solution, leveraging commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) functionality to configure the system to meet the Division’s needs, without costly custom programming.

The Division manages licenses and permits for over 52,000 establishments, including restaurants, swimming pools, hotels, tattoo & body piercing shops, day care centers and camps. The Division was looking for a highly flexible and scalable solution that would increase efficiency, improve information-sharing and data access and ultimately improve public protection.

Iron Data’s Versa solution allows the Division to consolidate standard business processes, including licensing, inspections, complaint tracking, enforcement and fee collection into a single, centralized database. Additionally, Versa automates license and enforcement workflows, eliminates redundant data entry and improves data accuracy and can be easily adapted to support the Division’s changing business requirements.

Iron Data’s Versa software is a comprehensive suite of licensing and regulatory applications specifically designed for regulatory agencies of all sizes, from single autonomous boards to multi-board agencies and large centralized departments. “We regularly add features based on input and feedback from our clients. Features including integrated workflow, real-time analytics, and rich ad hoc reporting capabilities are critical to our clients. Iron Data is committed to helping our clients increase efficiency and improve productivity” says Jim MacLaggan, Vice President at Iron Data.
